On another note, I leave for Dragon*Con in three weeks! Once my classes are over I will finish my skirts (they still need hemmed, and one of them still needs made...), attempt to make a Han Solo vest, and start packing! I've been listening to podcasts put out by The Unique Geek. They have the theme of "The 50 Days of Dragon*Con" and it features a different fan track director every week. If you've never gone or are just curious, definitely check it out. They capture the feeling of being overwhelmed, awed, and geekily excited while being informative and presenting different fandoms.
The car trip will be a blast as I am going with one of my best friends, Dezzie. She has never attended a con so I expect her to need a paper bag when we arrive. *Snoopy Dance* It will also be a reunion of sorts with my friends from Italy, and we may be accompanied by one of them on the car trip! I really could not be more excited. So much goodness in one place!
